Wombat Fun Day

Each year, our school proudly hosts an exciting Water Fun Day and Colour Run, welcoming students from surrounding small schools to join in the celebration. This event is filled with laughter, vibrant colours, and plenty of splashes, promoting teamwork, physical activity, and community spirit. Students enjoy a variety of water-based games and a lively colour run that encourages fun and fitness in a safe, inclusive environment. It’s a highlight of the school year that brings together young learners for a memorable day of friendship and joyful play.

Excursions

Each year, our school collaborates with nearby small schools to organise exciting excursions for students in K-2 and Years 3-6. Our K-2 students enjoy a fun-filled day trip, with this year’s adventure taking them to Canberra to experience a captivating live play. For Years 3-6, we offer a school camp that provides enriching educational and social experiences away from the classroom. These excursions are a wonderful opportunity for students to learn, bond, and create lasting memories with their peers.

Kitchen and Garden

Our Kitchen and Garden program offers students a hands-on learning experience where they cultivate and harvest fresh produce from our school garden. Using these homegrown ingredients, students work together to prepare a delicious three-course meal, which they then enjoy as a community. This program not only teaches valuable gardening and cooking skills but also fosters teamwork, healthy eating, and an appreciation for fresh, seasonal food.
